PARENTS and carers of children and young people with additional needs of any kind in the Caradon area are being offered the opportunity to meet together in Oasis groups to provide each other with informal support and information. Oasis will be meeting monthly in various venues across Caradon so parents, carers and grandparents can attend alone or can bring their child who has additional needs and/or their siblings along. Face2Face is a free confidential service offering emotional support, information and signposting. They are working in partnership with Family Services to promote and develop Oasis groups across Caradon. The Liskeard group meets every last Wednesday of the month from 9-11.15am at Liskeard library. The next meetings are this Wednesday and April 30. The Saltash group is meeting at Wesley Methodist Church Hall between 1-3pm on Thursday. The next one is to be arranged in the children's centre. The Callington group meets the third Wednesday of the month at Callington Town Hall 1-3pm. The next meeting is on April 16.
