The only Premier game at the weekend proved to be a huge bonus to the Tamarsiders as they moved up to fifth in the table. The location of Bovey's ground on the edge of Dartmoor made it a prime candidate to join the long list of postponements but the Moorlanders had worked hard to get the game on – although by 4.45 pm, they probably wished they hadn't! Bovey had won their last three home games but they found Torpoint determined to carry on where they left off in last weekend's 2-2 draw at Blaise Park.
