Golf- Winners on better back nine
The Wilkie Putter a foursome stableford competition was played at Looe Golf Club on Sunday last. Harold Ferris and Shirley Ferris saw off a strong challenge from Steve Hobbs and Pete Kinver both joint finishers on 36 points but Harold and Shirley had a better back nine score.
In third place just a point behind was lady captain, Pat Hodge and partner Shirley Nicholls with 35 points (incidently you have to look a long way down the result sheet to find their respective husbands!)
