A Golden Award from Help The Aged was recently presented by Mayor of Looe, Dave Bryan to Mr Jack Sweet, who has been nominated as a person over 65 who is still actively giving service to the community. At the same time, Ann Jenkins, Grand Bard of the Cornish Gorsedd, took the opportunity to present him with two framed photographs of this year's Gorsedd at which he was made a Bard. These pictures were a gift from Looe Old Cornwall Society of which he is a member.
