MORE than 60 people ventured into the tunnels and underground rooms of Whitsand Bay Fort over the half-term holiday, hoping for a spooky experience. The new Ghosts of Whitsand Past tours, organised by Hidden Heritage, attracted many locals as well as people from further afield, all keen to take in the atmospheric location and hear about its military history. The group is planning some adults-only ‘paranormal investigation’ events as well as further family friendly visits.
