Higher Trenedden at Peakswater, near Pelynt, a beautiful garden set in a quiet valley with countryside views, opens for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s 2018 Open Gardens scheme on Sunday, April 29 from 2pm to 5pm.
The owners are particularly keen on attracting wildlife to their garden which offers lots of ideas for visitors do in their own.
The garden includes an established cottage garden, an arboretum which was planted in 2006, with specimen trees, a meadow with a large pond, and a boardwalk through marshland with an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife.
Suitable for families, although due to the nature of the garden, disabled access is limited, and sorry, due to the wildlife – no dogs at this event.
