COMMUNITY groups in Cornwall are set to share in a funding boost from the Co-op.

Following the announcement of the latest beneficiaries of the Co-op’s local community fund, 41 causes are to benefit, including Cornwall One Parent Support, Cornwall Mobility, Age UK Cornwall and Children’s Hospice South West, with each in line to receive several thousand pounds. The funds for local good causes are raised through the Co-op’s membership scheme. By joining the scheme, shoppers can contribute to the money raised and they can choose which of the causes they wish to support.
