Pony rides, pampering treatments and original artwork will be amongst the lots on offer as a local charity holds a fundraising evening.

A silent auction will be part of a ‘Fun Pub Night’ at Calstock’s Tamar Inn, with live music from The Rubber Band.

The event on Thursday (February 7) is being organised by Riding for the Disabled’s Duchy Group based at Stoke Climsland.

The charity, whose motto is ‘changing lives, one ride at a time’, offers therapeutic horse riding sessions for disabled people. The group is entirely dependent on its volunteers and fundraising to carry out its work.
