Football- Presentation caps another good season for Dobwalls
Dobwalls football club's presentation at the Lord Eliot Hotel recently was well attended.
The club has had another good season, winning the Duchy Premier League cup and finishing runners-up in the league to Biscovey.
Next season Dobwalls hopes to go one better and break the stronghold that their Par based rivals have had on the title in recent years.
Manager John Dunn thanked all the club's sponsors for their generous support given during the season and also to the backroom helpers and committee who have all worked hard to drive the club forward.
The trophy winners were: Players player, Martin Nicholls; young player, Glen Toms; most improved player, Gary Isbell; clubman of the year, Dave Cliffe; leading scorer, Martin Nicholls with 44 goals; player of the season, Neil Mullis; manager's player, Martin Polatch.
A special award was given to John Blake of Kit Sponsors Jefferys Estate Agents for all his hard work as secretary.
