Maintaining their pre-season run of friendlies Liskeard bounced back from a defeat at Willand with a solid victory over Underhill Engineering Premier League champions Plymouth Civil Service on Saturday.
Paul Webber gave Liskeard a 15th minute lead, an advantage Civil Service cancelled out 14 minutes later when Mark Condy scored from the spot having been brought down by Hill.
Liskeard had the better of the second half when Lee Ireland scoring the Blues second from a Lee Beer centre. With Ally Cusack unsettling CS with his piercing runs Webber finish in style when adding Liskeard's third. The Blues striking had chances to have completed his hat-trick before Paul Thompson (pen) converted the visitors second from the spot. Tomorrow (Saturday) the first XI complete their friendlies at home to Mt Gould Ath.
