New Jewson SWL club Callington Town are to hold the official opening of their new Ginster Marshfield Parc ground on Saturday, Sept 18 when the first team meet Bodmin.
The Club are to invite the Community College head Steve Kenning along with representatives of organisations and businesses who have helped with the project such as members of the town council, Ginsters and Roseland Plant Hire.
Gary Marquand has won the monthly £100 first prize in the club's August lottery. Dave Skews won the second prize of £50 with Bill Rogers (£25), Matt Reid (£15) and Chris Neve (£10) the other prize winners.
With the new Parc now ready, concentration is now being paid to selling advertising boardings. As a special offer for the new season, the 8ft x 2ft boards will be offered at £175 for one board per season. £250 for two boards for a season and £250 for one board for two years.
