This was an even contest between the league's newcomers and Callington's young side who are being guided by the ageless Neil Moore.
North Hill opened the scoring but Callington soon hit back with full back Paul Harrison scoring his first ever goal, perhaps encouraging him to shoot more often in the future. Callington took the lead when an Andy Morys cross led to the North Hill 'keeper allowing the ball to slip through his hands and into the net.
Without a recognised striker for this game, Callington were unable to press home their advantage and North Hill deservedly got back on level terms and, with a little more luck, could have snatched a winner. However, Scott Maddock and Darren Wooley held firm with Paul Fletcher in goal providing good cover.
