Pensilva celebrated their first home game of the season and new ball sponsors F D Hall with a comprehensive thrashing of their rivals Port Isaac.

Pensilva started brightly with their midfield immediately stamping their authority on the game and they got an early goal when Jamie Page fired home from the edge of the box. The home side's domination continued and they missed a couple of chances to have increased the lead before Tony Rogers was brought down the the area. After some initial confusion, Pensilva's flapper and regular penalty taker made his way from his goal and stroked theball into the bottom corner.

A third goal soon followed when a well directed free kick from Rob Swinburne was headed past his own 'keeper by a defender, leaving Port Isaac in disarray.

After a brief rally from the visitors in the second half Pensilva again assumed control Rogers tapping in the fourth. By this time Port manager was getting rather agitated by his team's display and was threatening to leave for the pub but his spirits improived slightly when his team scored direct from a corner but were soon quashed when Page scored his second from a free kick and Rogers completed the scoring with the goal of the game.

Then it was down to the Vic for some food and the Pensilva players celebratee long into the night at the disco.
