But Liskeard and Looe foodbank is having to close its Liskeard and Torpoint distribution points, due to transmission issues, at the same time as preparing for increased demand with the impact of the virus on people’s livelihoods.

Food is also in short supply due to panic buying with contributions significantly down and fears that shoppers are helping themselves from the donations’ box.
