A YOUNG Saltash singer has recorded a version of Roses of Picardy to mark Armistice Day 2020 and raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

Flo Bonner says that she wanted to support the RBL – and that her grandad has been asking her to sing this particular song for a long time!

“The Forces and RBL are very dear to my heart, as there are so many families that benefit from the charity and their incredible work,” she said.

“This year due to COVID - 19 the sale of poppies and collections have been greatly inhibited so I wanted to share the love of this beautiful song with as many people as possible, and at the same time, raise money for the wonderful RBL.”
