A CALL for a specific move to address flood risks in parts of Saltash has been rejected by the town council. Cllr Sue Hooper wanted the council to set up a flood risk working group with residents in areas vulnerable to flooding. The proposal was rejected at a special meeting to discuss the issue. While the proposal was rejected, Cllr David Yates has said that the issue of flooding will be covered by the town’s neighbourhood plan forum.
