More than 200 riders from all over the UK will make their way to Cornwall to take part in the Boconnoc Ride organised by Endurance GB South West this weekend (June 17 and 18).

This prestigious two-day event is the largest staged in Devon and Cornwall and is becoming EGBSW’s flagship event.

Riders visit from all over the country to compete over a variety of distances from 20 to 50 miles.

Chief route designer Peter Claridge puts riders through their paces over parkland, valleys, open farmland and forestry tracks all set in and around the Boconnoc Estate.

There are also three Pleasure Rides available each day, with distances of 10, 15 and 20 miles which are popular with local riders.

Elizabeth Fortescue, owner of Boconnoc Estate, said: ‘It is always a pleasure to see the riders exploring the Estate and displaying their superb skill of long distance riding. Good luck to all of those competing.’
