’Fish and Tips’ were on the menu during a Cornwall Wildlife Trust event in Looe. More than 70 people packed the Millpool Centre to find out which locally-sourced fish are recommended in the Trust’s Cornwall Good Seafood Guide - and to taste delicacies cooked up by professional chefs from the town.
The evening was organised with the help of Looe Marine Conservation Group volunteers.
The guide, which also has a website at www.cornwallgoodsea foodguide.org.uk, provides information such as which Cornish seafood is in season at any given time and can be harvested with minimal impact on the environment, where to buy it, and how to prepare meals.
