The skies will be lighting up across south east Cornwall the first week of November with fireworks displays in towns and villages.

Events start on Friday, November 1 at St Nicholas C of E School in Downderry and the same night there will be bonfire and fireworks fun in Lanreath village hall.

Saturday, November 2 sees Saltash’s Kalan Gwav in Warfelton Field, Polperro’s fireworks display on The Quay and neighbouring Looe’s display at Tencreek Holiday Park - all on the same night.

On Tuesday, November 5 displays will be held at Liskeard rugby club’s training pitch,
