The annual Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety Service half marathon will be taking place on Sunday, February 19.

The charity event in the grounds of Lanhydrock House gives runners a hilly 13.1 mile multi-terrain course.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go to Ellie’s Haven and The Fire Fighters Charity.

This year’s race will also be used as one of a couple of qualifying events for the Inter Celtic Trail Running Championship, where Andy Trudgian from Mud Crew Trail Runners, is looking for a team of four men and four women to join the Cornish team to compete in the championship in Brittany in early June.

Starting and finishing at Bodmin College, the race starts at 10am with registration from 8.30am.

The event is open to anyone aged over 17.
