RESIDENTS of Callington and surrounding parishes can find out the latest news on the review into their local library and one-stop shop at a Community Network meeting on Thursday.

The Caradon Community Network includes all five Cornwall councillors for the area and representatives from the parish councils of Callington, Calstock, Linkinhorne, Pillaton, South Hill, St Dominick, St Ive, St Mellion and Stoke Climsland. It meets quarterly to discuss issues affecting residents and to set priorities.

Chair of the panel is Cornwall councillor and Callington portreeve Andrew Long, who said: ‘Everyone is welcome and I would encourage local people to come along and learn more about the issues that affect them and their communities.’

The Caradon Community Network meeting is at St Dominick Methodist Hall on Thursday (November 26) from 6.30pm.
