TO raise much needed funds for the school, Liskeard School and Community College will be holding a Christmas Fair today. The event will take place between 6pm and 8pm. It will also be a non-uniform day for pupils who will be required to dress in a 'Pink' theme, in recognition of breast cancer awareness. Pupils will be asked either to donate £1, or bring in a contribution to be sold at the Fair. There will be the usual array of festive attractions, including Mulled Wine, a live band, cake stall, raffle, gifts, craft stalls, and Father Christmas will be making a special visit for younger visitors. Year Seven and Eight pupils will be competing for the best stall and most amount of money raised during the evening. Each tutor group will be organising their own stall. Any donations of new or unwanted items that can be sold on the evening will be kindly received at the school reception. Food items such as cakes, pastries, and savouries will be very gratefully received on the Friday of the fair. For further information contact Collette or Judith on 01579 342344.
