TWO more Westcountry bands have joined the line-up for the hotly-anticipated Looe Music Festival next weekend.
The festival will run from next Friday (September 18) to Sunday, September 20, and more than 9,000 visitors per day are expected to soak up the festival’s sounds and atmosphere.
It promises high-energy, back-to-back beats on the beach and the chance to discover new musical acts while exploring the picturesque fishing port of Looe.
Over the weekend, 90 bands will hit five stages, with a wealth of local, national and international acts ranging from singer-songwriters and folk musicians through to hip hop, indie and punk bands.
Now local bands King Creature and Souls of Misfortune have joined a line-up headed by top acts The Proclaimers, Jools Holland and Johnny Marr, who are being supported by Buzzcocks, Bad Manners, The Dodge Brothers and Tankus the Henge. Other acts at the festival include the stirring Scottish bag-rock band Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Mad Dog Mcrea.
