Folk stars Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman have been announced as being on the line-up of the Landulph Festival next month.

Also appearing will be The Moscow Drug Company, a band which delivers a mix of cabaret, night club and campfire music and who will feature on the programme on Saturday, October 15.

The festival, which will run from Friday, September 30, to Sunday, October 16, will star BBC Radio 2 Folk Award-winners Roberts and Lakeman on Saturday, October 8.

Sean is a brother of superstar Seth Lakeman, with both being members of a folk musician family from Buckland Monachorum on Dartmoor which also includes brother Sam and father Geoff.

Other music at the Landulph festival includes a selection of classical options with the return of violinist Philippa Mo and the award-winning guitarist Sean Shibe.

There will be an eclectic mix of talks, workshops and exhibitions to add to the music.

The event will kick off with ‘sea songs, shanties, songs of love, lust and loose living’ from Flash Jack on September 30.
