Entrepreneurs, innovators and campaigners are among those who will be sharing the latest in sustainability at the Eden Project’s Festival of Hope on Sunday, November 27.
The Festival of Hope – Inspiring Sustainability will feature talks, music, art and exhibits. Among the speakers will be Eden’s Co-founder Tim Smit, Surfers Against Sewage’s Hugo Tagholm and inspiring individuals from ethical companies such as the award-winning tea makers Pukka Herbs and outdoors lifestyle retailer Surfdome who sell a skateboard made from recycled fishing nets.
Eden’s official partner Renault will also be on hand offering a chance to test drive one of their fleet of electric vehicles.
First held last year to mark the start of the climate negotiations in Paris (COP21), the event sets out to prove that a sustainable lifestyle and low-carbon future is one filled with optimism, great designs and clever innovations.
The Festival of Hope takes place in the Core Building at Eden from 11am to 6pm. Talks start on the hour every hour from 11am onwards. It is free to attend with a standard Eden admission ticket or Annual or Local Pass and there is no need to register.
