A huge crowd packed into Liskeard’s Westbourne Gardens on Saturday to sit in the sun on hay bales and have a picnic on the grass, while enjoying the second annual Ploughman’s Festival.
Twelve bands and acoustic artists on two stages provided the entertainment for the festival-goers at the free event, which has been hailed as a great success.
There was a beer tent, food stalls and ploughman’s lunches, served by Mary Westlake and Jan Hare (pictured left). In the morning there was a Farmers’ Market on The Parade.
