THE organisers of the annual Liskeard Ploughman’s Festival have met for the first time this year and have set a date for 2016’s event: Saturday, August 13.
It will be the third time that the festival has been held and the event is Liskeard’s summer celebration, rather like Lights Up heralds winter and the lead-up to Christmas.
Once again the event will comprise a mix of Cornish food stalls and entertainment on The Parade, with free family entertainment in Westbourne Gardens featuring live music across two stages, children’s workshops, a beer and cider tent, and a variety of food.
