Father and sons return home

A father and his two young sons, who disappeared on Tuesday, reappeared safe and well the next day just before police were about to launch an intensive search for them.

The alarm was raised on Tuesday afternoon when the man made a telephone call to his wife from Lux Park leisure centre in Liskeard. Police spoke-sman, Sgt Alan Mobbs, said there had been concerns for the safety of all three.

The police were finalising preparations for a search, including a police helicopter, when the boys and their father arrived back at their family home in Menheniot on Wednesday.
