TWO local charities will benefit from an all-day breakfast event, organised by the Cornish Farm Holiday Group. The fund-raising event will take place at the home of Jean and Robert Henly, Bucklawren Farm in St Martin by Looe, and is part of the Farmhouse Breakfast Week. The aim is to promote the quality of Cornish B&B breakfasts while supporting local businesses by using as much local produce as possible. Proceeds will go equally to the Children's Hospice South West and St Martin's Church, Looe. For the Henly family, this is not the first time they have taken part in Farmhouse Breakfast Week. Jean said: 'Last year we cooked 190 breakfasts and raised almost £1,500 for charity, so we hope to exceed these figures this year.' Cornish Farm Holiday members will work in teams throughout the day to provide breakfasts that offer the best of local produce. The event will run from 9.30am to 7pm.
