Three charities have benefited from the efforts of a family business near Looe during Farmhouse Breakfast Week. The Henly family run Bucklawren Farm, at St Martin by Looe, and they were one of four members of the Cornish Farm Holidays group who teamed up with local producers to organise breakfast events to celebrate the week, which took place from January 20-26. This was the fourth year that they have joined in the event. They staged their big breakfast event on Saturday and served a total of 225 breakfasts to eager customers. Their efforts raised £900 each for St Martin's Church and the Rotary ShelterBox Appeal, and a further £300 for the Children's Hospice South West.
