FANCY dress was to the fore when Year 11 pupils marked their last 'official' day at saltash.net community school. Students and staff dressed up in a colourful and imaginative range of costumes.

In the morning, there were lessons as normal, followed by a special lunch in the gym which gave students an opportunity to have their yearbooks signed, while being entertained by Year 11 student Nathan Daniel, an 'in-house' DJ.

There was also live music with an open-air 'bandslam' session featuring students Bronwen Hall, Elliot Wearne Gould, Ryan Kean and Matt Ward.

In the afternoon, Year 11 assembled in the main hall where more musical entertainment was provided by Lydia Herbert, Rose Bonner and Chloe Brandon.

PE teacher Emma Gue was presented with a bouquet for all she had done to help with the yearbook and student Toby Shotton was presented with a certificate and reward for having 100 per cent attendance throughout his time at the school.
