More than 2,000 people marked the arrival of spring by donning their wellies and greeting the new arrivals at Duchy College Stoke Climsland (part of the Cornwall College Group) at the family farm day. It was an opportunity to get behind the scenes of a working farm, to meet the animals and to enjoy a tractor and trailer ride. Children were able to enter a number of farm quizzes to win a prize, find out all the facts about sheep, climb on the college’s tractors, meet the cattle and get up close to new-born lambs.
