Falmouth look to be coming good at the end of the season – and this was reflected in their win over Liskeard-Looe at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.

Up front it was even-stevens, but Falmouth's backs were quicker, which led ultimately to an overall dominance. Both of Liskeard's scores came from catch and drives after the hour. With Falmouth attacking from the outset, they were soon on the scoreboard.

Flanker Chris McColl broke through to release centre Matt Biggins for a try under the posts, which fly-half Jack Brown converted. Twenty minutes on, after some ding-dong play in which Liskeard were holding their own well, home wing Steve Rowe went on a good run, and from the ruck Brown shipped out a long pass to wing Matt Bevans, who rounded his opponent and went in under the posts for Brown again to add the extras. Leading 14-0 at the interval, Falmouth went from strength to strength.
