Cornwall's deep down riches have been revealed through mining and quarrying over the centuries, and Stuart House in Liskeard highlights some of them in their latest 'Buried Treasure' exhibition being staged there between March 1 and March 12. The past and present treasures are represented by mineral and rock samples, and exhibits of copper, brass, tin and pewter. The future will be illustrated in an exhibition of The Caradon Hill Project and the World Heritage Site bid for mining in Cornwall. With the addition of activities for children, there will be something of interest to every visitor. The exhibition, in relation to National Science Week, is being organised by the Stuart House Heritage Group.
