CORNISH charity ShelterBox will give an exhibition of their work in Callington town hall next Saturday. The event, which runs from 10am to 1pm, will also see a fundraising effort in aid of the tsunami appeal. Along with a raffle and refreshment, there will also be the sale of any unwanted gifts. Anything for sale can be brought to Callington scout HQ from Monday to Thursday of next week or given to Lynne at 47 Inney Close (01579 382669) or to Margaret at 21 Lansdown Road (01579 383833). Alternatively, if you can't get donations to these places, items can be passed into the town hall.
• A GRAND concert in aid of the Tsunami Appeal will be held in Callington Methodist Church on February 5 at 7.30pm. Arranged by the Callington and Gunnislake Methodist Circuit Choir, performers include folk band 'On the Fiddle' and comedy storyteller Roger Partridge.
