Registration is open for CHICKS Santa Fun Run which will take place in Callington on the afternoon of Saturday, December 1.
Adults and children are invited to sign up for this hugely popular annual event, as are well-behaved rein-dogs on leads.
The one and a half mile route starts and ends at Callington Bowling Club. Participants can choose whether to run, skip, jump or walk around the route. ?CHICKS Community Fundraising Officer Mick Ryan said: ‘The run is certainly not a race; it’s all about celebrating the amazing difference this community has helped to make to so many children’s lives.’
Organisers are encouraging people to sign up as soon as possible as places are limited. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for children aged 3-16 and £25 for a family of four (two adults and two children) with the price including a free Santa suit for every participant and a medal for completing the route.
Mick added: ‘Once registered, we ask that all those who sign up raise as much in sponsorship as possible to help fund the vital respite breaks CHICKS provides for children from across the UK.’
