Little by little the Tudor estate of Cotehele, near Saltash, is emerging from its winter break.

While the garden and wider estate are open all year round, the beginning of half-term on Saturday, February 11 marks the re-opening of the National Trust shop and Barn Restaurant as well as the launch of a new exhibition in the Gallery. The house and mill will re-open on March 11.

The ‘Home from Home’ exhibition, featuring Roy Thedvall and Joan Bose, will include hand-made mirrors, clocks, wallpaper and porcelain by British and West Country artists plus paper-cut lamps from Hannah Nunn and resin-topped furniture from Nick Macrory.
