Thousands of schoolchildren dressed in brightly coloured clothes to celebrate the fifth birthday of a terminally ill girl. The annual rainbow-themed mufti day has raised thousands of pounds for Looe charity Ellie's Haven, in the past and it looks set to raise thousands this year too.
Charity inspiration Ellie Libby was not expected to live beyond her first birthday, but on Monday celebrated with family and friends after arriving home from hospital on Saturday, despite concerns she might not be released from hospital in time.
Her parents, Nigel and Julie Libby, were delighted to have her home in Looe in time for her big day.
