TEN TORS hikers have been raising money for moorland search and rescue volunteers.
Saltash.net community school’s Ten Tors teams took part in the Postbridge Challenge, a 12-mile charity walk, raising £175 for the Dartmoor Rescue teams.
The team endured temperatures that were well below freezing for the day. The challenge is preparation for Ten Tors, which the Year 10s are entering as a 35-mile team, and the 6th formers as a 45-mile team.
The Year 10s to take part were Beth Witton, Daniel Stowe, Nathan Delbridge, Troy Lambourne and Eric Tassart and the Year 12s were Harry Pascoe, George Seymour, Ethan Cox, James Randall, Jack Pritchard and Danny Snook. The students were accompanied by staff members.
