Students have been learning what it is like to run their own shop thanks to a new facility in Saltash.

Vocational and work-related studies students at Cornwall College have set up their own shop on campus, selling stationery, crafts and sweets.

The young people have been responsible for all aspects of the business, from organising the rota and checking stock to arriving on time for their shifts.

Course staff member Michelle Lobb said the experience students are gaining is invaluable.
