A GROUP of students have been put through their paces by the Royal Navy.

The Armed Forces careers officers from the Royal Navy put Military Academy students from Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, through the Royal Navy recruit test.

This is an exam-style test which is split into four elements, including spatial reasoning, verbal comprehension, mathematical comprehension and mechanical reasoning.

When this test is marked, it gives applicants a list of job roles for which they are eligible.

Curriculum lead for Military Academy and Public Services at Duchy College, Jamie Crisp, said the engagement the students are having with the Royal Navy has been ‘brilliant’.

There will be a courses and careers advice event taking place on Saturday, March 24, from 10am until midday at Duchy College.
