The successes and achievements of this year’s students at Cornwall College Saltash have been celebrated at an annual Student Excellence Awards Ceremony.

The event saw students presented with a prize in recognition of their hard work; watched by an audience of friends, family, lecturers and businesses.

The evening was opened by head of college, Margaret Butfield, who spoke about the highlights of the College over the last 12 months and the exciting developments going forward including the opening of the new restaurant and additional Koko hair salon.

The Cornwall College Group Director, Sally Foard, and curriculum areas then went on to present the winners of the award for each department. 

South East Cornwall MP, Sheryll Murray, who was at the celebrations said it was ’so good to see the students achieve fantastic vocational qualifications.’
