The Rick Stein Academy at Truro and Penwith College has celebrated the graduation of its first intake of students.

To mark the occasion, a celebration lunch was staged. Four of the graduates had their creations featured on the lunch menu, having won in-class masterclass and dish creation challenges.

The winning dishes will be adapted and served to 200 guests at the Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards at Truro College on November 18.

The Academy has spent the academic year training full time students at Truro and Penwith College as well as apprentices with the Rick Stein Group, with supplier visits, masterclasses and placements.
