Young people from Plymouth and Cornwall, considering a career in the Armed Forces, have been given a chance to see what the Royal Navy has to offer during a visit to HMS Raleigh.

A group of 54 young people were invited to take a look around the Defence Maritime Logistics School (DMLS), one of a number of specialist schools at the training base in Torpoint, and see the training provided to chefs, stewards, writers and supply chain specialists. They were given the opportunity to talk to serving members of each branch, ask questions about the role and also try their hand at elements of the training. Members of the Royal Navy Reserve were also on hand to talk about their role.
