Pupils at Saltash.net community school have taken part in the annual BBC School Report.

The Year 7 students had been working with English teacher Ms Baxter in the run-up to School Report day, filming interviews and writing scripts to produce their news packages.

The class was split into four groups, with each group choosing a news item to cover.

Topics included the recent success of the school’s Youth Speaks team, reading and its importance to young people, and PE and sports at the school.

Each group created a news bulletin on their chosen topic, which was then posted on the school website.
