Students from Looe who are off to further education in the autumn can apply for a local grant to help with the costs.

The Looe Public Schools and Exhibition Foundation makes grants towards fees, maintenance allowances and travelling expenses for students under 19 who live within the church parish of Looe and are going to further education colleges or universities.

The deadline for applications to be in is Friday, September 2.
