The Eden Project is organising a university course open event to highlight the education options at the centre.

From 11am to 1pm on Saturday, June 23, prospective students can find out more about the specialist courses on offer through Eden Project Learning.

The university-level programmes, awarded by Plymouth University and delivered in partnership with The Cornwall College Group, include BSc (hons) horticulture with specialist pathways in plant science or garden and landscape design, foundation degrees in horticulture, event management, HNC/HNDs in garden and landscape design, MSc in land and ecological restoration and the Certificate in Education (including DET).

Director of rural economy at The Cornwall College Group, Dr Phil Le Grice, said: ‘The upcoming open day offers the opportunity to see the outstanding facilities and unique learning environment, plus find out about transport, finance and student support.

‘We look forward to showcasing our courses to lots more students interested in developing their craft in horticulture, events, renewables and teaching in the unique setting of the Eden Project.’
