A former Military Academy student is celebrating after completing her phase one training for the Military Police.
Beth Connolly, from St Austell, completed the Level 3 Military Academy course at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, in April, ahead of schedule, and has joined the Army as a Military Police Women in the Royal Military Police (RMP).
The Royal Military Police is one of the hardest regiments to join, requiring a high level of academic ability and the highest score on the Army Recruit test.
Beth had to pass a series of tests to complete the training and was one of only 18 females to pass out.
