A new Cornish language and placenames pack has been launched for use in schools.
Kowethas an Yeth Kernewek (Cornish Language Fellowship) has produced the education pack as part of the Taves an Tir (Tongue of the Land) Project.
The pack, which is available free of charge to schools in Cornwall, is aimed at children aged from around seven to 16.
Funding for the project has come from the Heritage Lottery Fund and other sources in the county.
The pack draws on research carried out in three areas: Lanivet, near Bodmin; Heamoor, Penzance; and Tolgus, Redruth.
The Tave an Tir Education Pack is available for schools by emailing [email protected] The pack is also available for people to buy for £7 a copy from the website, www.cornish-language.org
