Nineteen adult learners from all over Cornwall were honoured at County Hall in July at a ceremony hosted by Council Chairman Ann Kerridge.

The award winners – the youngest age 17 and the oldest 75 – were chosen from more than 6,000 adult learners for their commitment to learning modern languages, maths, English, creative arts, Access to Higher Education and Family Learning. There were also awards for apprenticeships, Princes Trust Team Programme and Programmes of Study for 16-18s.
